As we look ahead to a season of pumpkin spice and falling leaves, we celebrate the conclusion of the 2026 Intermediate Methods in Interpretation cohort program, which officially wrapped up its six-month run this summer, spanning January to June 2026.
Designed to guide interpreters in deepening their practice beyond the basics, the program, offered via the Eppley Center’s IU Expand catalog, includes advanced topics in dialogic interpretation, accessibility, interpretive writing, media design, and social media engagement. Throughout the six months, participants engaged deeply with the coursework and apply concepts directly through documented evidence of learning.
The success of this cohort was driven by exceptional student engagement, thoughtful discussion, and learner-mentor feedback opportunities along the way. A huge thank you goes to the experienced mentors whose guidance and constructive feedback gave learners real-world, constructive feedback. The mentor-learner relationship is one of the most popular elements of the intermediate cohort—and we are so thankful for learner and mentor contributions alike!
Stay tuned to our newsletter later this fall for the launch of the 2027 program, kicking off with student and mentor application processes.
