The Eppley Center Partners with Indiana and the AWS Foundation to Improve Park Accessibility
The Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands completed accessibility assessments at five Indiana State Parks. In partnership with the AWS Foundation and IN Department of Natural Resources, multiple days were spent at the following State Parks - Chain O’ Lakes, Mississinewa, Ouabache, Pokagon, and Salamonie Lake. Physical and programmatic barriers to accessibility were identified and Eppley made recommendations for next steps. The project included the input from persons with disabilities both in-person and virtually and culminated in a final report.
