Indiana's Benefits Information Network (BIN) liaisons work with community service providers and other agencies to guide individuals with disabilities and their families as they explore the juxtaposition of employment and Social Security, health care coverage, and other services and supports.
This fall, IIDC’s Center on Community Living and Careers (CCLC) is offering both its Basic Benefits Information Network (BIN) Training and Advanced BIN Training to Indiana professionals. BIN Basic and Advanced participants are certified in Indiana to serve as BIN liaisons.
Online/Zoom Basic BIN Training begins October 4 and runs through December 10. Online/Zoom Advanced BIN Training begins October 6 and runs through December 15.
BIN trainings are presented in a blended format, combining Zoom sessions and online content modules. Trainings provide up-to-date information on Social Security's work incentive programs as well as other federal, state, and local benefits available to people with disabilities.
