The Eppley Center is proud to work with Radius-Indiana to conduct a site investigation of Constitution Grove in Indiana. Working in tandem with Radius-Indiana, the community, and various stakeholders, Eppley will contribute to the beauty of future planning.
Constitution Grove in Indiana still provides white oak lumber to maintain the U.S.S. Constitution. Commissioned in 1797, "Old Ironsides" gained fame in the War of 1812 and remains the world’s oldest commissioned warship still afloat. Saved multiple times from being scrapped, it now serves as a museum ship, with its restoration supported by the 53,000-acre Constitution Grove. Some naval traditions endure despite technological advances!
