The summer months have been long in more ways than one. The hot, sunny days did drag on a bit, but the summer doldrums were a bit rough this year as we carried on without one of our amazing staff – Kristy Anderson.
Dr. Anderson’s expertise in research and evaluation methodologies combines with her experience in outdoor education, human-nature interactions and impacts, and recreation equity. She brings these talents to her work with the U.S. Play Coalition and the management of its annual Conference on the Value of Play. In addition to running an international conference, Kristy manages projects with Eppley partners in interpretation and visitor research.
If you’ve met or worked with Kristy, you are familiar with the creative energy she brings to every project. And, while we at Eppley fully support the time she took this summer as a brand-new mom (!!), we are delighted to have that cheerful spirit back in the office. There is just no one better at drumming up enthusiasm for Excel spreadsheets than our colleague and favorite research scientist. Welcome back, Kristy!
