IIDC Annual Progress Report

The past year has been challenging, stretching many of us, but we have not let that stop us from delivering high-quality and innovative programs and projects that meet the needs and aspirations of people with disabilities, their families, and professionals, across the state and beyond. We have also strengthened and expanded our collaborations and partnerships with local, state, national, and international organizations and agencies, increasing our impact.

Our work continues to be driven by our core values of respect, equity, collaboration, innovation, and excellence. We strive to uphold these values in everything we do, and we are committed to advancing the vision of a society where people with disabilities are fully included and valued.

As we look forward to the next year, we have many exciting opportunities and initiatives to pursue. We will continue to explore new ways to improve our services and outcomes, to engage with our stakeholders and communities, and to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities.

Thank you for being part of our IIDC family. I hope you enjoy reviewing our annual progress. We look forward to working with you in the coming year to make a positive difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

Best Regards,

The Indiana Institute on Disability and Community (IIDC), Indiana’s University Center for Excellence in Disabilities, has fostered a foundation of excellence for community investment in developmental disabilities since 1970. Our mission is to work with communities to welcome, value, and support the meaningful participation of people of all ages and abilities through research, education, and service. Our work crosses the lifespan and is conducted across seven centers and an Indiana University disability-focused library accessible to all state residents.

The Indiana Institute is a member of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). AUCD is a national association that supports network members in their research, training, education, and service so that together, AUCD and Network members can promote the quality of life, health, and well-being of people with disabilities.
