Annette Knudsen is a community work incentive specialist supporting projects and trainings at the Center for Community Living and Careers at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Knudsen taught special education in elementary and secondary schools for twenty years, working with students having learning disabilities, autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, other health disabilities, or physical impairments. At the secondary level, Knudsen focused on providing opportunities for students to develop skills that prepared them to the greatest extent possible for achieving independence as they transitioned to adulthood.
Degrees
Knudsen holds a bachelor of science degree in Special Education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Paralegal Science from Eastern Kentucky University.
