Colleen Durkin-Blackburn is the Senior Program Manager of Accessibility and Park Planning at the Eppley Center for Parks and Public Lands at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community at Indiana University.
Durkin-Blackburn’s background centers around individuals with disabilities, including community living, employment, vocational education, medical rehabilitation, accessibility within the private and public sectors, as well as higher education. A common focus of her work is dignity, equity, and inclusion of people with disabilities in the various facets of life.
Degrees
Durkin-Blackburn holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and a master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University.
