Lynne Hall is a research associate with the Early Childhood Center (ECC) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community.
Hall conducts research and provides evaluation services, consultation, training, and technical assistance to educators and policymakers in early childhood programs, schools, districts, and state departments of education seeking to improve their early childhood services. This work includes delivering training presentations and workshops, engaging in coaching partnerships, leading focus groups, guiding systemic reform, facilitating communities of practice, and designing and executing evaluation and needs assessments. Over 30 years of experience in multiple early childhood roles (home childcare provider, licensed early childhood classroom practitioner serving Title I, senior early childhood equity specialist, and research associate) have equipped Hall with a broad understanding of early childhood systems and in-depth expertise of current research trends and evidence-based practices. Her passion is to ensure that all children receive high-quality early care and education. She seeks to support leaders and practitioners to recognize and effectively address individual and systemic barriers to providing all children access to equitable opportunities in ways that lead to sustainable change and high outcomes for all. Hall is originally from Louisville, KY where she earned a B.A. from the University of Louisville. She moved to Bloomington in 1990 and completed her M.S.Ed. at Indiana University.
