Kayla O’Neill has been dedicated to the field of early intervention for children from birth to age three since 2010. Her extensive experience spans across North Dakota, Minnesota, and currently, Indiana, where she serves as a Developmental Therapist.
In her role as a research associate with the Early Childhood Center (ECC) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana University, Bloomington, Kayla facilitates professional development initiatives aimed at empowering early intervention providers throughout the state. Her work focuses on enhancing the skills and knowledge of these providers to better support young children and their families.
Degrees
O'Neill holds a bachelor’s degree in special education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education and Developmental Disabilities from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She also earned a master’s degree in education with a focus on English as a New Language Learners from Augustana University.
