Personal Statement
I have a strong belief that all individuals should have the opportunity and support for competitive community employment at a competitive wage. I have experience working in public schools and the non-profit sector in employment. I have been a member of the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE) for over 20 years, and a board member of the Indiana Chapter (IN-APSE). Serving on the Public Policy committee, I have been involved in moving public policy forward in the state of Indiana for Employment First. I have also served on the IN-APSE Marketing and Communications committee, and Conference Planning committee. IN-APSE hosts an annual conference for employment service providers, vocational rehabilitation personnel, and others in the field of disability.
