Our classification system is entirely unique. It is based on the Dewey Decimal system but does not follow the Dewey that you may know. Created by the first Librarian at the Indiana Institute, this distinctive system grows and changes as we need it. Other small libraries with a disability focus have taken this system and modified it to fit their own collections. We hope you enjoy exploring our collection!
