Maria Stevenson is a research associate with the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning (CELL) at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana University, Bloomington.
Before joining the Indiana Institute, Stevenson spent 15 years in public education as an educator and instructional coach in inner-city public schools. Her primary focus has been implementing equitable educational practices for students with disabilities. She is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for education with others.

Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Indianapolis and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University.
